Pump Matrix (M) Sdn Bhd was established on 10 January 2013 with a clear purpose — to provide pumping solutions for challenging fluid-handling applications.
Our journey began by supplying slurry pumps to the mining industry, where abrasive and difficult-to-handle media required reliable pumping solutions capable of operating under demanding conditions. This early experience helped shape an application-driven approach that remains part of Pump Matrix today — understanding the medium, understanding the application and selecting the right pumping solution.
As our customer base and market requirements grew, Pump Matrix gradually expanded beyond slurry applications into a broader range of pumping technologies and market segments. Our capabilities developed to support industrial processes, building and commercial water systems, as well as project and infrastructure requirements.
Along the way, we established relationships with international pump manufacturers, including NOMAD Air-Operated Double Diaphragm (AODD) Pumps from JDA Global, USA, and DÜCHTING SiCcast centrifugal pumps from Germany, further strengthening our capabilities in demanding industrial and process applications.
Building on our experience in AODD technology, Pump Matrix later developed MTX, our own range of AODD pumps and replacement parts, providing customers with additional options for pump supply, maintenance and aftermarket support.
Over the years, our business has continued to evolve in response to changing market requirements. Today, Pump Matrix provides pumping solutions across three core segments — Industrial Pump Solutions, Building & Commercial Solutions, and Projects & Infrastructure — with applications extending into water and wastewater, flood control, agriculture and irrigation.
What began with pumps for difficult applications has grown into a broader pumping solutions business, while our fundamental approach remains unchanged:
